AH Spares Case Study
After receiving great feedback about their workshop tours, AH Spares decided it would be a great idea to create a ‘tour video’ so more customers could see behind the scenes. We were asked to shoot the initial video, and have since produced a number of other videos.
COMPANY OVERVIEW VIDEO
To encapsulate their company ethos and to show their dedicated team at work, we spent three days filming at AH’s state-of-the-art workshop – capturing their products, processes and how their experienced team serve devoted Austin Healey enthusiasts.
MANUFACTURING VIDEO
One of AH Spare’s main selling points is that the vast majority are made in-house, with components made in the UK. They felt it would be useful to have another video to re-enforce where the products are made, so they asked us to make a video concentrating on the manufacturing processes. We filmed in their workshop, and at some of the companies making components they use.
MANUFACTURING SHORTS
Using the material shot while making the main manufacturing video, and some additional footage, we produced 15 short videos each showing the production processes involved in making different parts. Using captions rather than voice-overs, the videos are placed in relevant pages on their website and in their online parts catalogue.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE VERSIONS
AH Spares asked us to create a French subtitled version that they could play on their annual exhibition stand at the Retro Mobile show in Paris. Similarly, we made a German version for an Austin Healey owners rally held in the Black Forest.
SOCIAL MEDIA SHORTS
We created a number of ten second branded clips of visually interesting production processes; these were used across AH’s social media channels as teasers for the longer videos.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
AH Director Rebecca Kemsley kindly stepped back in front of the camera to give us a testimonial. Also watch the video on the “Working With Us” page where Rebecca, and some of our other clients, talk about the power of video.
